Care in the comfort of your home...

Most hospice patients are cared for in their own homes.

Our admissions coordinator will visit with the patient and family in the comfort of their own home to explain the admissions process, answer questions and explain what services will be provided. A plan of care will be initiated based on the information gathered and medical need. A Compassionate Care Hospice nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you. There is no answering service; your call is answered by a nurse specially trained to take care of any problems that should arise. Home health aides are available for assistance with bathing, dressing, preparing meals and light housekeeping. Medical equipment, such as oxygen, hospital beds, bedside commodes, shower chairs, nebulizers and wheelchairs will be provided, as well as adult diapers and wound care supplies. Hospice will order necessary medication and they will be delivered to your home. A social worker will assist with any financial concerns and assist with any end of life issues such as funeral arrangements. Best of all, these services are provided at no cost to the patient or family.
